The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiji, attended a Sahkar Sammelan(Cooperative Conference) in New Delhi, on the occasion of the birth centenary celebrations of Shri Laxmanrao Inamdar organised by the ministry of agriculture and farmers, government of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. TUMCOS has bagged the National Cooperative Award for Co-operative Excellence on 23.09.2017.  Shri Narendra Modiji gave away National Cooperative Award for cooperative excellence to TUMCOS, on the occasion. The society received the award for the year 2017 in the category of best-performing cooperative society.
